I came home from work the other week to find Aidan sat on the couch reading a book with granny. Only he wasn't reading the words in the book, he was making up his own story, and turning the pages of the book as he went along. It was one of the cutest things I've seen him do and definitely one of my personal high points of being a dad.
Alas, I didn't have a video camera with me then, but luckily he did the same thing with mummy a couple of days later when she did.
I didn't always find the time to make videos out of all the footage we shot of Aidan when he was younger. As Aidan really loved his toy Dyson vacuum cleaner, however, I decided it was about time I put together this short clip from some of that footage.
Alas, the Dyson wasn't particularly robust, and only survived about six months of Aidan's rough handling before we had to throw it in the trash!
