Wow. Immigration Minister David Burch is on a roll at the moment.
Yesterday he admitted he was tempted to revoke every spousal letter issued to foreign spouses of Bermudians and put us all on work permits instead.
And today he admitted he is sometimes tempted to not give out work permits to businesses run by people he doesn't like, such as UBP senator Michael Dunkley.
While I'm glad that the Minister has (so far) been able to restrain himself from such inappropriate behaviour, it's still worrying to hear him publicly musing about it. Perhaps he should keep thoughts like those to himself.
