Glad to see Wayne Furbert has finally done the decent thing and resigned from the UBP. His recent public comments made his position there untenable. He has only himself to blame.
What I find odd, however, is that he hasn't ruled out joining the PLP. He's not leaving the UBP because of ideological differences, as far as I can see, so I find it hard to believe that the PLP's policies are what would attract him. He's leaving because he thinks the UBP needs to change to get elected and it's not willing to do so. But that shouldn't make the PLP more attractive.
Hopefully it's not just because he wants to be on the winning side.
